Foto Ireland was created to help and promote Ireland through the photography of it's members. Foto Ireland is a non-profit website.

It's not just for visitors to Ireland.
Many times I've asked people "Where's a good scenic place I can bring my camera?" or "Where's a nice place I can go and relax without the everyday hustle and bustle of the city?" Questions like that not always guaranteed an answer. The truth is, in Ireland there are literally thousands of these places. But not one person know them all. That's where this forum comes into play. The idea is everyone posts photos of places they like, hidden places in their county, places they explored when visiting another county. The idea is to get that knowledge out into the public domain. So, when the next time I'm passing through, say, Meath. All I have to do is look at the 'Meath' forum and see where Foto Ireland members have been, and what interests me.

How does it all work?
You can start by registering an account here. The rules on posting on threads and creating your own are here.
You then select whatever category you want to post into. For example, if it is a photo with of a Carlow landscape, you would place the photo in the 'Carlow' forum. On how to post an image check out here.

What will make this forum tick is discussion. So, allow discussion on your photos and discuss others. Share and share alike.
