Some gorgeous shots guys. AxelF wrote: Oops, sorry for the large pics in that post, they should have been medium... is there rules on size? Welcome to Fotoireland.com AxelF! And there isn't as such any rules on size. The 800px width on your pics are spot on

 Re: Dublin at night
I especially like the last photo by AxelF, so creepy... those sculptures at the IFSC are perfect if you love contrasts. Let me add a couple night shots by myself: (didn't want to post a huge picture, but you can see the 1000px version at this URL: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2585/398 ... 7732_o.jpgAnd a Christmas-themed one... Re: Dublin at night
Some great shots up there. I got to try some night shooting in Dublin recently, traveling from Carlow to Navan via Dub means I sometimes get a bit of spare time in between, perfect opp to go try some longer exposures Hand held across from the spire: The whoosh of a bus passing The custom house

 Re: Dublin at night
Cheers Dublin is great for them, as there's lots of options for placing the camera down for steadiness and there's something going on all angles. Like that custom house one, I put the cam on the railing along the by the river. It's nice and flat on top, perfect for a camera to sit on [just made sure to have the strap loosely around my neck while the shot exposed in case it blew over, was windy that night!]
